LOCAL RULES

1) OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
a) Beyond any wall, hedge, fence or white stakes defining the boundary of the course.
b) The Clubhouse, putting green, car park and drive area as defined by white stakes.
c) The practice ground as defined by white stakes.
d) Beyond the lines of white posts to the left of the 4th, 5th, the 6th green and to the right of the 12th, 13th, and 14th holes.

2) PENALTY AREA (RULE 17)
Red penalty areas marked with (red lines or red stakes) Rule 17,103)
The margin of hazards are defined as where the ground breaks to form the depression containing water.
NOTE: DROPPING ZONES FR RED PENALTY AREAS.
Where there are dropping zones for red penalty areas, a ball may be played under Rule 17, or a ball may be dropped in the dropping zone nearest to where the original bail last crossed the margin of the penalty area under penalty of one stroke, in a dropping zone a dropped ball shall not be redropped if it comes to rest within two dub-lengths from where it first struck the ground even though it may finish outside the boundaries of the dropping zone or nearer the hole.

3) IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16.1)
Include: - Roads & paths.

4) GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 16.1)
Any area appropriately marked by the greenkeeper (including white lined areas)

5) FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be taken from them. In addition, if such an obstruction, on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played, intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole the player may take relief, without penalty, as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a penalty area and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which a) is not nearer the hole, b) avoids such intervention and c) is not in a penalty area or on a putting green.

TEMPORARY LOCAL RULES
G.U.R
a) Deep depressions or ruts made by greenkeeping equipment (not faint impressions).
b) Newly turfed or seeded areas (with the exception of seeded divots).
c) Prepared temporary putting greens, from which relief MUST be taken.

AERATION HOLES AND SLITS
If a ball comes to rest in an aeration hole or slit, the player may, without penalty, lift the ball and clean it.
Through the green, the player shall drop the ball as near as possible to where it lay. but not nearer the hole,
On the putting green, the player shall place the ball at the nearest spot not nearer the hole that avoids such situation.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE:
Match Play - Loss of Hole.
Stroke Play - Two Strokes.
