Aldersey Green Golf Club ‘first and foremost’ wishes customers an enjoyable day at our club. To help us help you, please keep us informed of any changes you wish to make or add to your event including numbers, catering requirements, buggy hire etc. Thank You.

a) ‘Final Number’ of players for your Golf Day must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the day of play. Please note if the number of players is less on the actual day of play than had been given as the final confirmation number Aldersey Green Golf Club reserves the right to charge up to the full price agreed for individual players less than the number of confirmed players given.

b) This agreement is between you and Aldersey Green. It is based on a minimum number of twelve (12) players to qualify for Society Package prices unless stated on a particular package or correspondence with Aldersey Green. You and your group will be required to pay the balance of the number of players less than twelve. Alternatively, your group may pay the standard tariff fees for golf and catering services instead of the package deal price. A copy of our standard tariff fees is available on request.

c) Golf Society quotations are given based on all players utilising the golf and catering as provided within that package. The Society must inform Aldersey Green Golf Club if they have players who will not be using the complete package, i.e. players who plan only to play golf. Aldersey Green Golf Club will provide a Green Fee-only price for these players and reserve the right to charge participants within golf societies the standard tariff fee should they decide not to use the full package on the day of play.

d) Aldersey Green requires a non-refundable deposit for the society as a whole or per player to secure the booking. Once the deposit has been received the booking is confirmed and is no longer a provisional reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.

e) All prices quoted include VAT at the rate applicable to the payment date.

f) Please advise your cancellation or reduction in numbers by calling Aldersey Green Golf Club and confirming by email to info@aldeseygreengolfclub.co.uk. If the group/society cancels their booking seven days or later from the day of the event, this deposit may be at the Directors' discretion that it can be used to book a further day for the same society if played within four months of the original booking.

g) All visitors are bound by the Rules of the Club, which are available on request.

h) All persons should be regular players and have a clear understanding of the etiquette required. It is the responsibility of the group/society and each Individual Player to ensure that they are adequately insured whilst at the Club.

i) The Society or Group organiser is responsible for the conduct of its members whilst at Aldersey Green. Information on our dress code and speed of play requirements are available by request or viewed on our home website.

j) Full settlement is required before play on the day unless agreed by a written arrangement. However, Aldersey Green Golf Club reserves the right to request full payment in advance. Payment is accepted by a single, cash, online payment, debit, or credit card. We no longer accept cheques as a form of payment.

k) In the event of the course being temporarily closed i.e., course conditions due to weather, will find a suitable alternative time and/or rate to re-schedule the package.

l) Players are expected to take a ‘common sense’ approach in extreme weather i.e lighting and excessive rain and wind on the course. Please leave the course if necessary, keeping clear of trees as best as possible in the process.

m) Aldersey Green cannot accept responsibility for items mislaid, stolen, or lost on its premises.

Course & Golf Guide

1) Visitors and members are requested to always follow guidance and instruction from designated Aldersey Green Members Staff for your enjoyment and safety.

2) Please repair all pitch marks. If your members still need a pitch mark repair, please ask in the shop.

3) After raking a bunker, please leave the rake in the bunker.

4) Course accessories, i.e., Nearest The Pin and Longest Drive Markers, are available for a £20 refundable charge. Please advise before the day of play your requirements.

5) Whilst on the course, if you or any of your group require assistance, please call 01829 782157 and ask for help.

The Greens Staff aim to limit interference with your round during daily duties. However, for Health and Safety purposes, Greens Staff always have priority on the golf course. Standard golf course maintenance practices are carried out regularly on the course with minimal disturbance to all playing surfaces. We regret that no refunds can be made in these circumstances.
